The 20th season of 'I Am Solo (나는 솔로)' continues to deliver unexpected moments, with the latest episode featuring an intriguing random date pairing between Jeongsook and Gwangsoo.

On the May 22nd broadcast of ENA and SBS Plus's 'I Am Solo', the random dates for the 20th generation singles were determined. 

The random date selection involved single women waiting in homes of real residents in Gumi, Gyeongbuk, while single men picked cards with addresses to find their dates.

Youngsoo, who hoped to date Hyeonsook, ended up paired with Yeongja. During their visit, Youngsoo had an emotional moment, reminiscing about his grandmother while speaking with the elderly resident of Yeongja's assigned house.

Youngsik, who consistently showed interest in Hyeonsook, was surprised to find Yeongsook at the house he visited. 

Sangcheol, initially hoping to date Yeongja, found himself in a situation where Yeongja was already paired with Youngsoo. Nonetheless, he ended up dating Hyeonsook again and admitted, "If there is a second choice, it would be Hyeonsook. It’s fascinating that we got to date again by chance, and my feelings for her grew slightly."

Yeongho, who wanted to date Jeongsook, Oksun, Yeongsook, or Soonja, was paired with Soonja. She responded with excitement, saying, "If relationships repeat, they might become destiny."

Yeongcheol, who only had eyes for Yeongsook, faced disappointment once more when he found Oksun at the address he visited. He confessed, "It was really mysterious. She was someone I reconsidered during the first selection, and her actions and fashion give off a gyopo (Korean expat) vibe. I’ve admired such people for a long time and wanted someone like that."

Gwangsoo expressed his interest in dating Hyeonsook, remarking, "She's the first woman who shares my interests in quantum mechanics and reading." However, he was surprised to find himself paired with Jeongsook.

Clearly taken aback, Gwangsoo commented in an interview, "I thought, 'The inevitable has come.'"

Jeongsook didn't hold back, asking Gwangsoo, "Why did you never try to talk to me while approaching others?" Gwangsoo replied candidly, "I felt like we'd cause trouble together. We both seem to say a lot of shocking things."

As 'I Am Solo' progresses, these unexpected pairings and honest conversations continue to captivate viewers, keeping them eager for more twists and heartfelt moments.
