The K-pop group aespa(에스파) is set to officially debut in Japan on July 3rd.

According to their agency, SM Entertainment, aespa will release their debut Japanese single ‘Hot Mess’ on July 3rd. This single will include the title track of the same name and a total of three original Japanese songs.

‘Hot Mess’ is a powerful dance track characterized by its signature saxophone sound and gritty rap. The song carries a strong, independent message with lyrics emphasizing, “I live my life my way.”

The second track, ‘Sun & Moon,’ is a smooth R&B song with a mellow and soft atmosphere, expressing the hope of a bright future when together.

Another track, ‘Zoom Zoom,’ served as the ending theme for the TV Tokyo anime series ‘Beyblade X,’ which aired across six networks last October. This song captures the thematic elements of the anime’s extreme sports world.

Additionally, aespa will embark on their second world tour, ‘2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : PARALLEL LINE’ starting in July. The tour will take them to arenas in Fukuoka, Nagoya, Saitama, and Osaka.

Following the arena tour, aespa will hold their second solo concert at the Tokyo Dome on August 17th and 18th.
