Kwak Dong-yeon (곽동연 クァク・ドンヨン), who has cemented his status as a top K-content star with his stellar performance in "Queen of Tears(눈물의 여왕, 涙の女王)," is set to host a fan meeting in Japan. 

Titled "HEARTS(하츠)," this event will draw its name from his official fan club, "Simjang Kwak Dong," symbolizing a heartfelt connection between the actor and his fans. This marks his first fan meeting in Japan in six years, following the success of "Love in the Moonlight" in 2018.

In "Queen of Tears," which recorded a historic high rating of 24.8% on tvN, Kwak Dong-yeon portrayed the growth of Hong Soo-chul, a third-generation chaebol, with perfection. He contributed significantly to the drama's immense popularity with his unique comic timing early in the series and deep emotional acting as the story progressed, eliciting empathy and tears from viewers.

The upcoming fan meeting will celebrate not only "Queen of Tears" but also his other popular works such as "Vincenzo (빈센조)," "Gaus Electronics (가우스전자)," "Big Mouth (빅마우스)," "Monstrous (괴이)," and "Love in the Moonlight (구르미 그린 달빛)." Kwak Dong-yeon plans to express his gratitude to his loyal Japanese fans through a special performance prepared for the event.

The 2024 Kwak Dong-yeon Japan Fan Meeting 'HEARTS' will take place at the Tokyo Katsushika Symphony Hills Mozart Hall on July 28 at 5 PM. Early ticket sales for fan club members are open until June 20 via the fan club website, with general ticket sales beginning on June 24 through Lawson Ticket.
