Actor Kim Hyun-jin (김현진) has brought a sweet and charming finale to his character in the TVING original series "Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale" (나는 대놓고 신데렐라를 꿈꾼다), referred to as "DreamFreak." Playing the role of Baek Do-hong, the youngest blockbuster film director, Kim Hyun-jin exhibited the romantic allure of a straightforward, no-nonsense man.

Kim Hyun-jin’s performance throughout the series showcased a seamless sync with his character, exuding irresistible charm in every episode. In the sixth episode, Do-hong’s heartfelt confession to Shin Jae-rim (played by Pyo Ye-jin) with the line, "Don’t talk about that person in front of me. Don’t you get it? In episodes 9 and 10, released on June 28, Do-hong handed Jae-rim a plane ticket to Berlin after hearing about Moon Cha-min’s (Lee Jun-young) upcoming marriage, choosing support over jealousy. This solidified his role as a reliable sanctuary for Jae-rim, despite continuous rejections, further endearing him to the audience.
