"Debut" stands out with its upbeat rhythm and addictive melody. Lyrics like "Love me once I know you’ll love me twice" and "I don't need nobody tryna tell me how to run it" reflect boldness and confidence. The group's six members—Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sofia, and Yoonchae—add their unique vocal charms and energetic personalities, creating a vibrant and powerful summer anthem.

The single was crafted with the help of a star-studded lineup of producers, including Ryan Tedder, who has worked with Beyoncé, Maroon 5, and Adele. Other contributors include Grant Boutin, Tyler Spry, and Omer Fedi, ensuring a high-quality production.

The music video, directed by Gregory Ohrel, known for his work on Selena Gomez's "Love On" and Jain's "Makeba," showcases KATSEYE's bold and lovable charm. The video features scenes of the group roaming freely inside and outside a school, performing daring stunts, and dancing in the middle of a bustling street. These visuals highlight KATSEYE's identity as representatives of a new era and generation.

Dynamic choreography, including various kicking and hand movements, grabs the viewer's attention. Son Sung Deuk, the executive creator in charge, led the overall performance of "Debut."

KATSEYE is set to continue their activities with performances at "KCON LA 2024" from July 26 to 28, where they will meet global music fans. Additionally, their journey will be featured in the Netflix documentary series "Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE," slated for release this summer.
