NewJeans(뉴진스) have achieved their fourth consecutive million-seller, solidifying their status as a digital powerhouse.

According to their agency ADOR on June 8, NewJeans’ double single "How Sweet", released on May 24, sold a total of 1,085,355 copies (including both the standard and Weverse editions) based on the Circle Chart for May.

Since their debut in July 2022, NewJeans have consistently hit the million-seller mark with all four of their releases. Their debut album "New Jeans" and the single album "OMG" have sold over 1.59 million and 1.66 million copies, respectively. Their second EP "Get Up" achieved double million-seller status with over 2.14 million copies sold.

NewJeans continue to dominate the music charts with their title track "How Sweet" and the B-side "Bubble Gum", both of which remain at the top of major domestic music sites like Melon, Genie, and Bugs. Internationally, "How Sweet" ranked 119th on Spotify's latest "Weekly Top Songs Global" chart for the week of May 31 to June 6, marking its second consecutive week on the chart. It also secured high positions on the latest Billboard charts (June 8), placing 7th on "Global (Excluding the U.S.)", 12th on "Bubbling Under Hot 100", and 15th on "Global 200", proving their global appeal.

Additionally, NewJeans made a significant impact on Billboard Japan’s "2024 Mid-Year Charts" (covering the period from November 27, 2023, to May 26, 2024), with three songs ("Ditto", "OMG", and "ETA") ranking on the overall song chart "Hot 100". Despite these songs being released before the chart period, their sustained popularity showcases NewJeans’ enduring digital strength. Anticipation is high for their upcoming Japanese debut single "Supernatural," set to be released on June 21.
