TWICE’s Nayeon (트와이스 나연) makes her highly anticipated comeback today (14th) with the release of her second mini album ‘NA’ and its title track ‘ABCD’ at 1 PM (KST).

Ahead of the album drop, Nayeon held a press conference on the 13th, where she shared her excitement and details about the new album. “It’s been two years since my last solo comeback, so I’m very excited and looking forward to it. The album is titled 'NA', which stands for 'cool and strong me'. I’ve put a lot of effort into showcasing my most powerful and daring side. I hope you will love it,” she said.

The title track ‘ABCD’ is a fresh and vibrant song that promises to be the new summer anthem of 2024. With its early 2000s pop diva vibes and a hip, groovy performance, ‘ABCD’ is set to captivate K-pop fans worldwide. Nayeon highlighted, “The hip choreography in the post-hook part is the highlight. I’ve put a lot of effort into the performance, so I hope many people will enjoy it.”

The new mini album 'NA' includes seven tracks: ‘ABCD’, ‘Butterflies’, ‘Heaven (Feat. Sam Kim)’, ‘Magic (Feat. Julie of KISS OF LIFE)’, ‘HalliGalli (Prod. by Lee Chan-hyuk of AKMU)’, ‘Something’, and ‘Count It’. The album boasts contributions from renowned producers and artists like Rick Bridges, JYP Entertainment’s head producer Park Jin-young, BigHit Music’s Pdogg, singer-songwriter Sam Kim, Julie of KISS OF LIFE, Lee Chan-hyuk of AKMU, and songwriter SOLE, making it a high-quality record.

Nayeon also expressed her enthusiasm for the summer season, saying, “Summer is my favorite season, and I want to be known as an artist who suits the summer well. I plan to actively promote through various stages and variety shows, so please give me your support and interest.” Her solo debut album ‘IM NAYEON’ in June 2022, featuring the title track ‘POP!’, achieved great success, including a No. 7 spot on the US Billboard 200, marking a strong start for her solo career. This summer, Nayeon aims to continue her growth and solidify her position as a ‘Summer Diva’ of 2024.

On the evening of the 13th, Nayeon held an offline premiere event at CGV Cheongdam CineCity in Gangnam, Seoul, spending a special comeback eve with her fans. The event featured the premiere of the ‘ABCD’ music video, an album unboxing, behind-the-scenes stories, and a Q&A session, creating a rich and engaging experience for attendees. The event’s highlights will be available on TWICE’s official YouTube channel at 8 PM on the 14th.

Nayeon is set to perform her much-anticipated title track ‘ABCD’ on various music shows, starting with KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ on the 14th, followed by MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 15th, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on the 16th.
