ILLIT (아일릿 - Yuna, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) made a spectacular entrance at the '2024 Weverse Con Festival' (위버스콘 페스티벌) held on June 15 at Incheon Inspire Entertainment Resort. The group opened the festival with their mini album's title track "Magnetic," leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
As the members appeared on stage with adorable poses, the crowd erupted in cheers. Despite it being their first festival stage, the atmosphere quickly heated up. The group's enchanting intro melody and captivating performance immediately won over the audience.
Expressing their excitement, ILLIT shared, "We were nervous about opening the show, but the fans' cheers gave us the energy to perform happily. This is our first festival stage since debut, and we're grateful to have achieved this dream."
Following their opening act, ILLIT presented "Midnight Fiction," a track perfectly suited for a summer night. The performance, debuting at Weverse Con, drew the audience's full attention. The members' stable vocals and expressive gestures filled the stage, while their playful interactions and chemistry delighted the viewers.
ILLIT explained, "The theme of this stage, 'Paradise,' represents luck, dreams, music, and the energy of the audience. We hope you take away a lot of positive energy from our performance." They concluded with "Lucky Girl Syndrome," a song radiating their signature positive energy, prompting fans to chant each member's name. ILLIT responded with heart-shaped hand gestures, expressing their love for the fans.
A significant highlight of the festival was ILLIT's collaboration with Park Jin-young for a tribute stage. Performing "When We Disco," ILLIT's harmonious voices perfectly complemented the retro sound. Yuna and Moka danced alongside Park Jin-young, enhancing the stage's excitement with their groovy disco steps and choreography. The performance ended with a clever twist, blending the closing pose of "Magnetic" with "When We Disco," symbolizing the unity of K-pop.
