The film "Wonderland(원더랜드)" has claimed the top spot at the box office.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets, "Wonderland" drew 237,797 viewers over the three-day weekend (June 7-9), securing the number one position. Since its release on June 5, the film has attracted a total of 468,802 viewers.

"Wonderland" tells the story of a video call service that uses artificial intelligence to recreate deceased loved ones, allowing people to reunite with them. Directed by Kim Tae-yong, known for "Late Autumn," the film stars Tang Wei, Park Bo-gum, Jung Yu-mi, Choi Woo-shik, and Bae Suzy.

Director George Miller's "Furiosa: Mad Max Saga" garnered 187,928 viewers over the weekend, landing in second place. Its cumulative audience stands at 1,418,630.

Following these were "Following" starring Shin Hye-sun and Byun Yo-han (93,321 viewers), and "THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT" (71,917 viewers). The Hollywood action blockbuster "Bad Boys: Ride or Die," which premiered on June 6, claimed the fifth spot with 71,871 viewers. "The Plot," starring Kang Dong-won, took the sixth spot with 52,184 viewers.

Meanwhile, the release of Disney-Pixar's animated film "Inside Out 2" on June 12 is expected to shake up the box office rankings.

"Inside Out 2," the sequel to the 2015 film "Inside Out," continues to explore the inner world of American girl Riley by personifying her various emotions. As of this morning, "Inside Out 2" holds a commanding lead in presales with a reservation rate of 53.1%. The thriller "Drive" directed by Park Dong-hee (9.1%) and "Wonderland" (6.9%) follow.
