BTS Jin (방탄소년단 진) successfully completed his first activity following his military discharge.

On June 13, at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul's Songpa District, BTS held the ‘2024 BTS FESTA’ event titled “Seokjin on June 13, 2024, Clear Skies.” Jin, one of the group members, was present at this special event.

The VCR played before his entrance showed a spaceship heading into space, with captions like “We’ll meet soon” and “Excited,” expressing the anticipation and excitement between Jin and his fans. Jin made a grand entrance on a bicycle, greeted by enthusiastic cheers from ARMY. He kicked off the event with his 2022 solo single "The Astronaut", delivering a heartfelt performance with his warm vocals and bright smile.

In his adorable voice, Jin greeted the fans with “ARMY” and shared, “I’ve returned to the home I missed so much. It feels like I’m debuting again. My hands and face are shaking.” He candidly admitted that he still felt nervous and asked for understanding in case of mistakes, expressing how much he missed his fellow BTS members currently serving in the military.

The event, “Seokjin on June 13, 2024, Clear Skies,” was proposed by Jin to spend meaningful time with ARMY up close. The event included various segments that showcased different sides of Jin. 

Jin said, “I’m sure ARMYs were happy and excited when they heard I’d be on stage. Now we can meet in person. June’s Seokjin greets you.” Despite his nerves before the performance, Jin felt energized by the direct interaction with fans, asking, “Are you as happy as I am?”

Jin also shared funny anecdotes from his military life, including how he told his younger comrades to call him “uncle” due to the age gap. He asked ARMY for help in adjusting back to civilian life.

In the ‘Challenge Catch-up’ segment, Jin tried out various trending challenges such as ‘Sorry for Being Cute,’ ‘Bbo Bbo Challenge,’ ‘Kongnyangyi Challenge,’ and ‘Night Dancer Challenge.’ Jin’s cute expressions and gestures during the ‘A Cat Walking on a Frozen Han River’ challenge delighted ARMY, who requested an encore, which Jin gladly performed.

He also showcased his dance skills with Jungkook’s “Seven,” exuding a sexy and sophisticated charm, and performed “Super Tuna” with the dancers, interacting closely with the audience.

Following the lively "Super Tuna" stage, a video played with soothing music, featuring letters Jin had written to his fans. This nostalgic moment moved ARMY, who expressed their gratitude with cheers.

Returning to the stage, Jin announced, “Today is a special day for us. Our members sent messages saying they want to meet again soon.” A video titled ‘EAT JIN’ appeared, and Jin mentioned his popularity for eating shows, preparing to enjoy some foods live on stage.

A table was set up with tanghulu, zero-calorie drinks, and tuna. Jin delighted in the tuna, remarking on its luxurious and elegant taste, and shared this live with fans. He joked about being a fan of spicy sauce and reminisced about past eating shows.

Jin concluded the event by reflecting on the importance of being back on stage, stating, “I felt that this is where I belong.” He shared that the preparations for the event started immediately upon his return from the military, expressing his gratitude for ARMY’s support.

“Even though it wasn’t perfect, I’m grateful for everyone who enjoyed and came to this event. I’ll continue to be your light. Thank you, ARMY. I love you, ARMY,” Jin said, closing the event with his solo song "Moon."

Meanwhile, BTS plans to resume full group activities with a special 10th-anniversary album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” next year, following the return of all members from military service.
